EDIT: Well lookie what we got here...! This was just featured in DrawFriends #469 on EquestriaDaily! I never saw so many feedback messages in my inbox before, and I was gone playing Halo 2 this whole time!
Thank you so much for your appreciation! Welp, here it is! The big project I've been working on for the longest time, and it's fiiiiiiiiiiinally finished!
Actually, it's been done for a month, and I just failed to upload it because I've been too preoccupied...
>.> <.<
Anyway, this has been commissioned to me by a mister ~Treble-Beat several months ago, and it took a long time to get this to look right, especially considering I was still somewhat new to the digital art trend. I think it still turned out pretty well. This is one of several pieces I'm sending to ~Treble-Beat to be put up for auction at the MLP convention called "Running of the Leaves". I, myself, have never heard of it, along with several other people I asked about, but I only recently discovered that that is because it's a brand new convention, making its debut in September this year.

I was allowed to draw whatever I wanted for this commission, and I was really big on playing BRAWL a while ago (still am, but not as much. Stupid school...). And thus, there originated my idea. The difficult part was matching characters based on skills, movesets, and personalities. Here is who I came up with, if you can't figure it out from the image:
Twilight Sparkle + Lucario Big Mac + Mario Discord + Bowser Vinyl Scratch + Kirby Rarity + Peach Nightmare Moon + Ganondorf Trixie + Wario Applejack + Donkey Kong Luna + Meta Knight Celestia + Zelda Fluttershy + Luigi Pinkie Pie + Mr. Game & Watch Spitfire + Captain Falcon Gilda + Wolf O'Donnell Rainbow Dash + Fox McCloud All Nintendo characters belong to: All My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters belong to:
This was great but i couldn't tell who was battling who im not a great critique this is the 2nd ive seen yet my 1st is My little pony you need to label and still looks like this but more labels thank you but this was still great.Good Job.I hope that you'll be drawing more of this things cause this was aweesome cute and compassionate try your best in everything and never give up and you'll win everything that you know that or what is important too you so good luck try your best i wish you best of luck
As a both a My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic and Super Smash Bros. fan I must say this is very well done and some of the pairings are very unique like Kirby Vs. Vinal or Rainbow Dash Vs. Fox the art style is a bit lacking but nothing big out of all the crossovers I've seen with SSB. on here yours is by far the original some of the pairings I just don't get like Pinkie Vs. Mr. Game and Watch or Gilda Vs. Wolf but some of the pairings are kinda cute as well like Big Macintosh Vs. Mario or Fluttershy Vs. Luigi or Rarity Vs. Peach all and all this is a ood picture If this game actually existed I would have no problem paying full price for it
- Twilight - Mario - Discord - Kirby - Rarity - Ganondorf - Wario (unless Trixie has the amulet) - Donkey Kong - Meta Knight (guy is S tier ) - Celestia - Luigi - Pinkie - Captain Falcon, obviously - Wolf - Rainbow Dash.
another question that i ask is why im i picturing this as a possible fan made mortal kombat game, i mean think about it nintendo's biggest icons vs. hasbro's biggest creation known to all people (bronies included) with fatalities, babalities, and (sigh) frendships as well, that would be awsome. but regardless that's just my imagination going wild.
these combinations are all legit and very well planned, however there is one thing that still bugs me. why does it look like princess luna and nightmare night are two separate people, i mean i can understand if you're trying to make them separate to choose between the two just like deciding to choose link or toon link in ssbb, but if that's not the case who's gonna face up against gannon or meta knight?
