Wow. How the time flies. It's hard to believe that it's been nearly a year since I was first introduced to the marvel that is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. One year later, and a lot of new friends gained, new drawing techniques learned, new universes explored. It's truly a spectacle. I thank you all for supporting me in my endeavors.
As a celebratory act, I decided to make something special. If anyone's been following me since the beginning, you'll remember this image; my very first drawing in the MLP fandom.
That's right, The Princess of the Moon herself, Luna, was my first ever pony drawing. I thought it'd be a cool idea to update it in my new style.
Funny... back then, I never thought I'd even consider trying to do digital art, but look at me now. It's amazing what a bit of practice can do for ya', huh?
That isn't all I'm doing with this image, by the way. Keep watching my updates, and you'll see soon enough.
I say again, thank you everyone, for keeping up with my progress, and for supporting my artwork. I love drawing, and darn it all, I'm gonna keep on doing it. Let's try to keep this train a-rollin' for another year, eh? Luna belongs to
I'm slowly getting some progress done with it. I actually wanted to do this using my tablet, but I felt that wasn't a good idea. Plus, I stunk with it right away...
Well, I'm about a day away from ordering one. It'll be an intuos 4, I've been saving for about 5 months. It'll be tricky to get it to work 100% on linux, but I hope the challenge will be worthwhile. I know it can be done, and Google is my friend.
I'll need it for when I don't have Internet, or I don't feel like getting out my pencils.
Wow, ha! I'm not only impressed with how much you've improved but...
I don't know. I'm not too good with words Maybe one day I can actually tell you what I meant by being "impressed". You are a good man Ury, and I did say anything I wrote in that red ink in vein.
I'm actually thinking of getting that note laminated, because those words really did hit me. In a good way, of course. Thanks for being such a good friend, Rainbow. It means a lot to know that even though we've yet to personally meet, there are people I can trust.
